Unqualified Teaching Assistant

A friendly and well facilitated school in South Bristol is looking for a 1:1 learning support assistant to join them until the end of the academic year on a full time basis. You do not need to be qualified in order to apply for this role, but you must be proactive and passionate about working with children.

Job Duties

• Being proactive in supporting children with SEND,
• Having a good level of patience and resilience,
• Supporting w providing teaching resources and being able to interpret plans.
• Promoting activities to aid natural curiosity and knowledge
• Supporting children with interventions.

What you need to apply:

• Prior experience of working with children isn't necessary but you need to demonstrate genuine passion,
• Prior experience in schools is desirable but not essential,
• Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service (we can assist with application)
• Legal right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
