SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs? or have you recently graduated and looking for a career that is rewarding? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist provision in Birmingham. You will be supporting children and young people in and around the classroom.

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (term time)

Location: BIRMINGHAM, UK

Salary: £83- £90/ Day – PAYE

Contract: Full Time

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • always Ensuring students safety
  • Making learning Fun and engaging
  • Able to take direction from the class teacher, able to work well alone and in a team.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs is desirable.
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic educational setting.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be resilient and committed to the role.

Additional Information:

  • Must have or be willing to apply for a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
