Sports Coach

At Teaching Personnel, we are working closely with a primary school in Gorton who are actively seeking a Sports Coach who will work alongside teachers at the school to provide quality lessons to the pupils and then you will be required to work with teachers to develop their PE skills. The successful candidate will be working in a school that believes physical education and sport are extremely important to their pupils physical and mental wellbeing. The successful educator will be working in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm) and is required to start in school as soon as possible based on availability and vetting to be completed. This role is available due to the school wanting to utilise additional funding across the school, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The position is initially required until the end of the academic year, the impact this specialist support will then be reviewed for the following academic year.

-        The successful candidate will have experience of teaching different sports to children aged 6-12 years old.

-        A candidate who can deliver engaging and inclusive sports sessions to students of varying abilities.

-        An individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills who can promote the school values by being enthusiastic promoting physical activity.
