Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Salary: £20 - £25 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Deliver engaging lessons and activities to enhance the academic and social development of students
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students with SEN

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with individuals with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Additional qualifications in Special Education would be advantageous

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience working with students with SEN
  • Demonstrated success in supporting students with diverse learning needs

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Ability to create and implement individualised learning plans
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

Working Conditions:

  • Part-Time hours, with flexibility in scheduling
  • Temporary position with the potential for extension
  • Work closely with students, parents, and educational professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
