Position: Full-time Science Teacher

Do you have a passion for teaching Science and a strong desire to make a positive impact on students' lives? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team and work at one of our partner schools in Altrincham.

The school is located in the vibrant and diverse community of Chorlton, and it has a challenging student population. However, the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) is highly organised in managing behaviour and providing support to new staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher to contribute to the school's growth and help students thrive.

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons that follow the national curriculum.
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions to continuously improve teaching practise.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.
  • Salary Range: £30,000 - £46,525 per year, depending on experience.
  • Full-time position, starting at the beginning of the next academic year.
  • Standard school hours apply.
  • Potential for a temporary placement to lead to a permanent contract with the school.
