Company Branding: We have a position open in the Trafford area for a science teacher with ourselves at Teaching Personnel. This role will start as a temporary contract with the option to go onto full-time with the school. The school itself is easy to get to as it's close to tram lines, bus stops and a train station. For drivers, it's near many main roads. The staff of the school are all welcoming with a strong focus on ensuring the students excel, creating a positive environment for the staff and raising the level of education delivered. The students are also very engaged with learning, allowing you to fully focus on the content you're teaching.

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Communicate with parents, colleagues, and other members of staff
  • Participate in school meetings and professional development activities
  • PGCE in Science Education
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
  • Previous experience teaching Science at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour
  • Additional qualifications in Education or Science
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Experience with special educational needs (SEN) students
  • Full-time position with regular school hours
