The Head Teacher of a Catholic Primary school is looking to appoint a temporary outstanding practitioner. You will be joining a friendly and forward-thinking school. You will also have access to excellent CPD opportunities; training to deliver a Mastery Maths approach, Shine! Reading, Read Write Inc and KAGAN Collaborative Learning Strategies.

You must be:

  • An inspirational teacher.
  • Someone who will complement our strong team ethos in our drive to maintain our high standards, academically, socially and emotionally.
  • Committed to high expectations of pupils in all areas.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 1 students
  • Assess and evaluate pupil's progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies in the classroom
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance
  • Follow safeguarding policies and code of conduct in school
  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Excellent planning and marking skills
  • Proficiency in teaching Phonics

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
