Are you a passionate, nurturing, proactive individual looking for a challenge?

A school based in Chorley are looking to appoint teaching assistants to provide extra support to its pupils. The school provides the highest quality education for boys and girls aged 5-11 with an array of needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs along with challenging behaviour, autism and speech and communication difficulties. 

Duties –

  • Support pupils throughout the school day and adhere to their personal timetables.
  • Develop good relationships and rapport with the pupils to enhance their experience.
  • Incorporate the use of senses into learning.
  • Support their speech, language and communication development.
  • Consider and tailor the choices, needs and wishes of each individual pupil.  

Key Information -

  • Full-time role, Monday to Friday (8:30-3:30pm) start date ASAP or 1st September 2024.
  • Term-time only role.
  • PAYE contract.
  • SEMH Provision.
  • Chorley based (PR7).
  • Competitive hourly rate of pay of £12.90+ per hour depending on experience and additional duties.
